Excellent food and pricing. You can get a very large and healthy salad for 6 that would feed 3 people. The pricing, quality and people that work there couldn't be finer!

This has got to be the best defac in the DOD. The prices reasonable, the food is always great and the staff goes out of their way to make your food right. It’s not the normal lunch line type place, it’s better. The best part is, it’s open to everyone. They take cash or card and are open till 1830 everyday.

Call me crazy or even weird, but I love military base food. Vandenburg Air Force base has several very good dining facilities for officers. Breakers serves large portions and very tasty too. God bless America and those who risk their lives so that others may live in freedom.

We are retired military and this dfac was terrific! The food was delicious and reasonable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

Great prices and a lot of options to choose from. Almost everything is customizable to your liking. I have no complaints. It's like a cafeteria setting when getting your food and a restaurant feel once you sit down. Clean and affordable. Fruit is always fresh, I love their grab and go options as well. They have stations that make food fresh verses other stuff that sits out (which is still good). Everything has a red, green, yellow sticker on it, which is helpful for people who want to stick to the healthier menu options.
